This upcoming 2016/17 season, K3 – Centre for Choreography | Tanzplan Hamburg celebrates its 10th anniversary under the umbrella theme of Dancing Together – Working Together. In honour of this occasion, this season’s residency programme will also have a specific motto and a special format.

For the 2016/17 season, K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg will award a five-month residency to an artistic team/collective for the development of a group piece, closely linking choreographic practice, research and artistic production. This residency format is directed at “post-emerging” choreographers (artistic teams/collectives in the field of choreography), who have already implemented several productions. The residency is expected to begin in August 2016 and will run until January 2017.

Surovi i jednostavni običaji, fizikalnost žensko muških odnosa polazna su točka prilikom stvaranja materijala za "Kolo". Fascinirane silinom i iskonskom snagom narodnog blaga kreiramo kroz povremene susrete i elektronsku komunikaciju koncept predstave koja u svojoj intezivnoj završnoj pripremi otvara nove aspekte bavljenja tradicijom.

Zagreb Dance Centre (www.plesnicentar.info), operated by the umbrella not for profit organization Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples / Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (www.danceincroatia.com), has recently been accepted as member of the European Dance house Network. This is a network of dance houses and organizations which spans across Europe. Zagreb Dance Centre is now the 27th member of this dynamic structure which supports the development of dance as a vital component in contemporary art development. As a structure supporting dance it presents an effective, efficient, sustainable and contemporary form of promotion and support of dance artists as well as dance infrastructure, including dance practice and discipline within a European context. The EDN engages in a range of partnerships with other networks and organizations on the national, pan European and transnational level and thus opens up new opportunities for dance where sky is the limit.
